Welcome to the Murray Brown House Bed and Breakfast located in the quaint little town of Muncy, PA

Make the trip to a lovely village in the midst of the Allegheny Mountains. Muncy, known as the Williamsburg of Pennsylvania, is a quaint town full of classic historic homes, which has even been featured in the magazine “Colonial Home” The Murray Brown House is a private home from the late Victorian Era located on Main Street in the midst of the historic district. Currently, on the first floor, it boasts a cozy sitting room, a formal dining room, a large kitchen, a powder room and a large living room with windows on three sides, which will be dedicated to scrap booking and quilting. The large center hall foyer leads to the turned stairway and to the second floor, which has four bedrooms and two full baths.

Your quilt/scrap book week-end will include a welcoming supper on Friday night, a large breakfast on Saturday morning, a tea served Saturday afternoon, and a large Sunday brunch .This will allow for a nice dinner out at a  local restaurant . There are many fine restaurants within walking distance that serve excellent food and spirits, and many more within a short drive.

Since this is an opportunity to get away with close friends and quilt/scrap book the rooms will be shared by two to three people. However, we know that some of you will be working all night and the large separate living room is just perfect for that. There is no need to move things to eat or to eat near your  quilt or scrap book. Work stations will include tables, extension cords and lights. Please bring you own supplies including your sewing machine (if quilting).
